Daniel Billington II

Daniel Billington, ACTAR #1913, is an Accredited Collision Reconstructionist and Human Factors Expert specializing in Forensic Visibility Analysis.  He is a former Deputy Sheriff from Waukesha County, WI, with 18 years in law enforcement.  After beginning his career in the private sector in 2009, he now operates a private consulting practice, Great Lakes Forensic Experts, that provides expert support for legal and insurance professionals.

With thousands of training hours and extensive experience in the field of collision reconstruction, Mr. Billington has been called upon to provide expert support and testimony throughout the United States and abroad.  Mr. Billington’s focus on the details and integrity are unimpeached; he is an expert whose tenacity has helped win cases on both sides of criminal and civil matters.  As a seasoned lecturer, Mr. Billington has spoken for the National College of DUI Defense at the Harvard School of Law, national conferences, and many state organizations throughout North America.

Mr. Billington is accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Traffic Accident Reconstruction.  He previously served as the chairman of the Theory Test Development Committee, whose purpose was to produce testing questions and criteria for candidates who have applied for accreditation testing. He is also a member of the Society of Automotive Engineers and the Illuminating Engineering Society.  Mr. Billington has earned a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice and a master’s degree in Organizational Management.
