Alcohol Education & Treatment Programs:

Massachusetts’ 24D Program

Ongoing Treatment and Resources

Massachusetts has adopted a unique substance abuse program known as the 24D Program that many first-time OUI or second-time OUI offenders may be assigned to after conviction. The purpose of the 24D Program is to reeducate DUI offenders of the dangers of driving while intoxicated. Completing or enlisting in these programs can also allow a driver to receive a hardship license

There are additional resources available in Massachusetts and nationwide, both for those in recovery and their loved ones. These resources include apps, meetings and online communities. Support is available for those seeking education, recovery and community.
