COVID-19 Court Upate

On Friday, December 4, 2020, the Massachusetts Trial Court announced an extension of temporary measures taken to limit in-person court attendance following the Thanksgiving break. The reduction of in-person court operations will extend now to January 8, 2021. This will result in fewer staff on site and most matters being held virtually.

In addition, Palmer District Court will be closed through Wednesday, December 9, 2020 for cleaning. Following a total evacuation and shut down, Springfield District Court will continue most pretrial conferences for a period of 90-days. All other matters will be addressed virtually, if possible.

The Law Offices of Joseph D. Bernard will continue to keep our clients informed as circumstances in the court system change in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
